Outdoor play will include fresh air and exercise, a space to release energy, the opportunity to make noise, longer play sequences, a feeling of freedom and discovery of the environment. A range of appropriate equipment will be used for the development of fine and gross motor skills. Outdoor play experiences will be scheduled in the daily timetable regularly regardless of weather conditions (undesirable weather conditions might affect the actual amount of time spent outside but not deter staff from outdoor time).
